YOU ARE INVITED!!
Please join me in celebrating the launch of Flotsy, my third published novel! It will be held at the beautiful Haviland Club in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, on Saturday, May the Fourth, from 1:30 to 3:00.
My first book, For a Song, won second place in the 34th Annual Atlantic Writing Competition, and is about a minstrel who stumbles upon an entire race of people that needs saving. Milo’s Burden tells the story of a young boy who inspires others to make it right, no matter the cost.
My website has the first chapter of all three books as well information on how you can add them to your collection of reading material.
I hope to see you at the launch!
I wandered around Indigo the other day, as I do on many days, looking for treasures. And to my great pleasure and surprise, the ever so clever staff had my very owns books displayed like this:
I would like to thank the staff at the Library, especially Gary Ramsay, for the warm welcome and support.
Wishing you magic,
Peggy Hogan to read from her latest novel, Milo’s Burden, at the Confederation Centre Public Library, 18 June 2016 at 2pm. Peggy will also perform an original song inspired by the story.
This will be her last performance for the launch of Milo’s Burden. Don’t miss it!
Hello! I would like to thank the PEI Writers’ Guild for inviting me to be their Featured Reader at the Open Mic. It was a marvelous opportunity to put faces to names and to listen to some fine work. Richard Furlong ensured that everything ran smoothly, and Keith Burgoyne was the MC who tied all the various tangents together (as well as reading from his own quirky and highly entertaining novel). Thanks again! Peggy
Peggy Hogan, author of the novel, Milo’s Burden, is in the Readers / Writers section of the June 2016 edition of The Buzz.
